Paolo Grendene graduated in Agricultural Sciences at University of Milan in 1999. In that year he left the small family farm starting to work as a General Director at Costarossa Dairy (PV) until 2007.
Later he was Hospital Manager at Brentwood Farms in Orland (California) and on his return to Italy in 2008 he took the position of General Manager of Cirio Agricola Dairy (CE), where he is still in charge as Chief Executive Officer.
In 2015 with Cristian Rota he conceived and organized the first Cirio Dairy Meeting. Next June Paolo will receive a MBA at Polytechnic University of Milan.
Mary is Global Dairy Sector Strategist at Rabobank. She is a thought leader who has extensive knowledge of domestic and international dairy markets and policy and over thirty years of experience in production agriculture, food processing, government service, agricultural policy, dairy risk management, market information and dissemination, and milk and dairy product price forecasting.
Prior to Rabobank, Mary held positions at the USDA, Kraft Foods, and Stella. She later founded Keough Ledman Associates, an economic consulting firm serving the dairy industry since 1995.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in agricultural journalism and a Master of Science degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University. Early in her career, she was awarded a Fulbright-Hayes Scholarship to conduct comparative research on US and European dairy policies.
Greg Bethard received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from Virginia Tech in dairy nutrition and management. He has served on faculty at New Mexico State University and North Carolina State University, and as a technical services specialist for Monsanto Dairy Business.
Since 2000, Greg has operated G&R Dairy Consulting, Inc. with his wife Rachel. Greg has also served as CFO for the Pagel Family Businesses in Kewaunee, WI from 2014 to 2017.
Since 2017 Greg has been a partner in High Plains Ponderosa Dairy in Plains KS and currently serves as General Manager, CEO, and CFO.
Greg has published articles in the Journal of Dairy Science and written articles for various dairy industry magazines. He has also given presentations to dairy producers and allied industry around the globe.
Franco Cesaro has been the owner of Cesaro&Associati since 1986, whose specialization is to work on values and dynamics of the family business. His activity has focused since 1974 on supporting the development and generational coexistence of family businesses.
The centrality of his consulting job and studies (with over 500 cases of companies and families ) is the person who works in organizations that, in order to grow, chooses to invest in culture as a prerequisite for their own autonomy, for the development of talents and the solution of problems, with a view to well-being. From 1993 collaborates with the University of Verona and since 2009 with the State University of Milan as Contract Professor, and also currently he is active with research projects at the University of Bolzano.
He has produced several publications, is a founding member and territorial referent of Medef - Mediators of the Italy family (Italian Association of Professionals of family mediation) for Veneto area and he is also an honorary Member of the Cultural Scientific Observatory - Italian Historical Companies Union.
Thomas Fuhrmann is a veterinarian and founder of the Dairy Works management system. He has been a veterinary practitioner in the dairy industry for 40 years all over the U.S and has had helped many dairies not only with herd health but also with creating effective management systems with his clients.
